SSMA MISSIONARY STATEMENT

We the sisters of St. Michael the Archangel are female religious of active spirituality supported by prayer in the service of God and humanity by implanting Godliness in human beings in an intimate way such that the faith becomes a pleasant heritage. And care for the sick and the needy. This apostolic spirit results from our intimate union with and our identity with people in all things except sin.

St. Michael is one of the principal angels; his name was the war-cry of the good angels in the battle fought in heaven against the enemy and his followers. He has been especially honored and invoked as patron and protector by the Church from the time of the Apostles.
